MY ROLE: As a freelance designer, I reported to the senior designer.
I was provided copy along with the branding guidelines, which included the oversized, concentric infinity graphic which had been used in this way as part of the branding during this time.
I sourced and separated out the photo of the people from their background (before AI). Laid out elements in InDesign (stacking the lower rings over the legs) then saved out the PDF to the publisher specifications. Final files where saved to the online system.
I chose to keep the design minimal by just having the 3 main elements: the headline, the CTA and the employee experience/branding.
MY ROLE: I worked with Harvard Kennedy School for several years as their sole designer. I worked closely with the Communications Manager to develop these and many other ads (see more at the bottom of the page) from start to finished files.
These ads are from 2013, full and half page. The focus is on the classroom energy and continuous learning.
MY ROLE: As a freelance designer at Blackboard I worked directly with different internal clients, this one was Ally.
These 2 half page ads where created in 30 minutes. They sent me the screenshots and the headline and I tweaked and assembled previously used assets. The black band with gray bar is a branding element.

We had been working on the branding together for a few months at this point so we had the background elements established.
They provided the copy and the logos. I went with a band for the logos because it looks official (and of course they need a white background)
